Workforce planning that starts from the work
Enter what needs doing, and Vicis tells you how many hours it takes, whether your people cover it, and where the week falls short, while there is still time to fix it.

For businesses whose work arrives as jobs.
If your week is a list of things to be done (places to visit, jobs to complete, units to turn around), each with a location, a date and a rough duration, this is built for you. It is built for the person who plans that week: several people across several locations, a schedule held in one head, and the discovery on Wednesday that it does not add up.
It is not built for work measured in footfall or call volume. If your demand is customers walking in rather than jobs to be done, another tool fits better.
Jobs carry an estimated duration. The staffing requirement is derived from them, not guessed at, and not copied from last week.
Your people state one recurring week. Availability becomes hours, and hours are the unit work is measured in.
Estimated time meets worked time, so the next estimate is better, and so is the staffing decision that follows it.
The places work happens. Everything else hangs off them.
Who works for you, where, and which week they are available.
What needs doing, and roughly how long it takes.
Staff see their shifts on their phone. Nothing is printed and nothing is pinned to a wall.
On their own phone, at the location. From here on, hours are counted, not assumed.
Worked time sits beside the estimate on the schedule, and next week's estimate is corrected.
Approved hours leave as a file for whoever runs payroll. Pay rates are joined there, never on the schedule.
Each day says whether the people cover the work, in hours, before the week starts.
